What can you do in Panel Haus for free?

The whole studio, with a one-off grant of ink to see what it makes. Layouts, lettering, the full canvas, Motion, and exports at HD. What you would pay for is the Pro model, unlimited custom layouts, a bigger character vault and ink every month.

· Panel Haus

The whole studio. A free account gets every tool: panel layouts, lettering, the full canvas, characters in the World Vault, and Motion for turning pages into video. It comes with a one-off grant of ink, 25 at the time of writing, which is about 25 HD panels or six comic pages, so you can make something real before deciding whether to pay for anything.

There is no card to start and nothing expires while you are deciding. The limits are on volume and on the top model, not on the tools.

One ink makes one HD panel on the standard model, which is the only model Free draws with, so on Free the arithmetic is always one to one. What does one ink buy? has the full table.

What you would be paying for

The paid plans do not unlock tools. They unlock quality, volume and a monthly refill.

Current plans and what each includes are on the pricing page, which is generated from the same numbers the checkout uses.

What happens if you never pay

Your work stays. Projects, characters and exports are yours whether or not you ever subscribe, and a free account is not a trial that ends. When the grant is spent you can still lay out, letter, arrange and export everything you already made; you just cannot generate new panels until you top up or subscribe.

The sensible way to spend 25 ink

Make one strip, not one page of a book. Four panels on the standard model is four ink, and a strip is finished the same evening. Save the character you used to the World Vault first, so the retries you would otherwise spend on a drifting face go on the panels instead. How do you keep an AI character looking the same in every panel? is the one thing to read before the first generation.
